Terms of Service
Last updated 13 August 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Pnumen Digital LLC for your use of Family Dashboard. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them.
What the service is
Family Dashboard is a shared organiser for a household: to-do lists, groceries, a pantry, meal planning, recipes, chores and a family calendar. Some features use artificial intelligence to read receipts, suggest meals and write recipes.
Your account and your household
You sign in with a Google account, and you are responsible for keeping access to it secure. A household is a shared space: everyone in it can see and change the household’s content. Only invite people you would hand a paper list to.
You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live. Children may appear in a household — as chore assignees, for example — but accounts are created and controlled by adults.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you put into Family Dashboard. You grant us only the permission needed to operate the service for you: to store your content, display it to your household, and process it through the providers described in our Privacy Policy.
Recipes you choose to save to the shared library, and the ratings attached to them, are visible to other households — that is the purpose of the shared library. Nothing else you create is shared outside your household.
Acceptable use
Please do not:
- break the law, or use the service to harm, harass or impersonate anyone;
- upload content you have no right to upload, or attempt to access another household’s data;
- probe, scrape or overload the service, or use automated means to generate AI requests at volumes a household would not;
- resell the service or present it as your own.
Artificial intelligence, and why you should check its work
AI-generated content — recipes, dinner ideas, scanned receipt lines, shelf-life and nutrition estimates — is generated automatically and can be wrong. Treat it as a helpful draft, never as authoritative.
This matters most where it could hurt you: do not rely on Family Dashboard for allergy safety, food-safety decisions, medical or dietary advice. Dietary exclusions you set are instructions to a language model, not a guarantee. If an ingredient is dangerous to someone in your household, verify the actual product and recipe yourself. Shelf-life estimates are guesses; if food looks or smells wrong, throw it out.
AI features may be limited, metered or temporarily unavailable, and each household has a monthly spending limit. When it is reached those features degrade gracefully — the rest of the app keeps working.
Third-party services
Connecting Google Calendar is optional and governed by Google’s own terms as well as these. We are not responsible for third-party services, and connecting or disconnecting them is your choice.
Availability
We aim to keep Family Dashboardrunning, but it is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Pnumen Digital LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of Family Dashboard. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Ending it
You may stop using Family Dashboard and delete your household at any time, from Settings. Only the person who set a household up can delete it; anyone else may leave it, which removes them without affecting the rest of the family.
Deletion takes 30 days. The household stops working the moment you ask, and for 30 days the person who set it up can cancel and restore it. After that the content is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered by us or by you. Before deleting, you can download everything the household has as a single file. Some records outlive deletion — AI usage and billing, and ratings on shared recipes — and the privacy policy explains exactly which and why.
We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms, or if we discontinue the service — in which case we will give reasonable notice where we can.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will update the date above and tell you in the app. Continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept the new terms.
